IZONIT hole saws are used in bench drills, lathes and milling cutters as well as in hand-held power drills.
Their high concentricity ensures reliable tool control. IZONIT hole saws cut perfectly round holes quickly and easily, whether in unalloyed and alloyed (stainless) steels, castings, aluminium, copper, bronze, brass, wood, plastics or similar materials.

Maximum cutting depth for all sizes: 28 mm.
These hole saws come with an alternating 4/6” tooth pitch (i.e., alternately 4 and 6 teeth per inch, counted on the circumference) which helps prevent chatter.
All Bi-Metal hole saws have a height of 48 mm.

Recommendation for use
The hole saw is centralized and guided by a H.S.S. pilot drill clamped into the arbor of the saw. The drill should project at least 3 mm (1/8”) beyond the saw teeth. For cutting of metals the use of a high-grade cutting oil is recommended. An exception is cast iron, which is cut dry. Use kerosene instead of oil when cutting aluminium.
The cutting oil prevents vibrations and chatter and gives longer tool life.
Avoid overheating of hole saws. Apply uniform pressure over the entire tool circumference to avoid tooth breakage.
Always wear protective glasses when working with hole saws!
